Pastor Dusty is a 46-year-old native of Northeast Texas. He has been married to his best friend and ministry partner, Kristy, for almost 26 years (April 22, 2000). Together Dusty and Kristy have 3 adult children.

Pastor Dusty was saved by grace at the age of 18 and has been active in the ministry since that time. Dusty began serving the Kingdom in the area of Youth/Student ministry in 1998. In 2013, Dusty also took on the role of Family Pastor while being mentored toward the Lead Pastor role. He took his first Lead Pastor role in 2016.

Pastor Dusty has previously accepted the challenging call to revitalize two churches in Texas. He and his family have experienced the highs and the lows, successes and failures, that are common of church revitalization efforts. Pastor Dusty finds the value of this experience immeasurable.

Pastor Dusty looks forward to continuing to grow and expand FBC's Kingdom work and influence throughout Leland, Brunswick County, and the world. His vision is to lead our church to be actively leading our community to Christ, while positioning our body to maximize our influence by identifying and removing any obstacles that limit our ministry to the community.

Pastor Dusty and Kristy will begin their ministry here at First Baptist Church on Easter Sunday, April 5. Come join us as we worship the Risen Savior!
